De Chicchis Caponata Appetizer and Main Dish Recipe Ideas  

 

Caponata with Cream Cheese: 

Pour Caponata over Cream Cheese.  Serve with your favorite crackers for an easy and delicious appetizer. 

 

Caponata with Artichoke: 

Add a cup of chopped artichoke to a jar of De Chicchis Caponata.  Grate two heaping tablespoons of Parmesan Cheese and two heaping tablespoons of Asiago Cheese.  Mix well, and serve with your favorite fancy crackers or melba rounds.   A delicious appetizer! 

 

Pastry Bites: 

Mix a jar of Caponata and generously add Mozzarella Cheese, Fill pastry cups with mixture. Add more Mozzarella on top of each pastry cup.  Pop into 400 degree oven until hot, and cheese starts to melt.  If you prefer using a slice of Italian bread instead of a pastry cup, it is equally as delicious as a hot sandwich. 

De Chicchis Caponata can be topped on any meat, fish, pasta, pizza,  polenta, eggs or salad, for a main meal. 

Add Caponata to a seasoned tomato sauce, (ground meat optional), and pour over a favorite pasta for a scrumptious Spaghetti Sauce!
